The third team to enter the world of women's Test cricket and the White Ferns did this in 1935 in a one off Test against England. Since that time a total of 45 Tests have been played by New Zealand, the most recent being against England in 2004.
New Zealand is one of only three teams to have participated in every ODI World Cup and in 2000 won the trophy for the first time.
A format where New Zealand perform very well, evidenced by their victory in the 2024 World Cup. Have played in every World Cup, with previous best performance being semi finalists in 2012 and 2016.
